Musical Background

Ms. Rutledge is a former member of the Dayton Opera Association. Performances include Lucia, Marriage of Figaro, Pinafore and LaBoehme. She has performed in a variety of off-Broadway musical productions, including Sing Mahalia Sing, Thomas Meloncon’s Where Were You in ’65, Working on the Building and Shelley Garrett’s The Beauty Shop. Sandra has also done many voiceovers for various radio and TV commercials and has been the featured toastmistress for various events. Sandra has shared the stage with many national acts such as Ray Charles, Alex Bugnon, Michael Douglas, Jeff Lorber, Chuck Loeb, Kim Waters, Peabo Bryson, The Ohio Players, Fats Dominio, just to name a few. Ms. Rutledge has kicked off many NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL games by singing the National Anthem.
